Cult Warhammer 40K card game Citadel Combat Cards is mobile-bound

Here's one for all you Warhammer fans out there. Yesterday, it was announced that Flaregames would be partnering with Well Played Games and Games Workshop to bring us a mobile adaptation of Citadel Combat Cards, a classic card game set in the war-plagued universe of Warhammer 40,000.

And if that sounds like great news to you, then you'll be happy to hear that the free-to-play title is set to release soon on November 22nd for iOS and Android.

Games Workshop's cult card game is a favourite amongst Warhammer fans. Originally released in the late 80s, Citadel Combat Cards focuses on the eternal conflict within the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Fans can expect an impressive level of authenticity from the experience, with the largest collection of cards featured in any available version of the game. You can also expect to see 'Eavy Metal-painted miniatures from every Warhammer 40,000 faction.

That being said, this isn't just one for Warhammer vets as I'm certain that anyone would enjoy trading the skulls of their defeated enemies for fresh new cards and improved warriors.

If that all sounds grand to you, and you love all things Grimdark, I'm sure you'll already have the date November 22nd jotted down in your diary. Because that's when it's coming to Android and iOS. Obviously.
