Spyro Reignited Trilogy could be coming to Switch sooner than you think

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, the long awaited Spyro remaster we've been hearing rumors about for months, was announced last week, but we were a little more than disappointed to find that the remake won’t be coming to Switch (at least just yet). However, there might be hope, after all, as a listing for the game briefly appeared on the UK Nintendo eShop.

The listing shows “Spyro the Dragon Remastered” up for pre-order at £39.99, with a full description that matches the official ones already seen at other retailers for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The listing was missing a picture and release date, but it looks pretty legit.

eShop listing for Spyro trilogy

The remastered trilogy includes revamped versions of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is expected to launch on September 21 on PS4 and Xbox One for now, though hopefully this elusive eShop listing means a Switch version won’t be far off.

Many thanks to Nintendo Wire for the eShop screenshot.
