Capcom has no plans to make Monster Hunter Freedom Unite compatible with iOS 9

Capcom has stated that it won't be updating the Gold Award-winning Monster Hunter Freedom Unite to work on iOS 9.

The following notice can be read on the game's App Store page:

"This application is not compatible with iOS 9 (including the Beta). There are currently no plans to update this application in the future. Please keep this in mind when updating your OS."

The same message has also appeared on the App Store page for Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, which is only available in Japan.

iOS 9 rolled out last week. Sometimes it can take days, maybe weeks for developers to make their games compatible with Apple's new operating systems.

Obviously, Capcom has decided not to bother with that at all. Which is especially a shame considering that Freedom Unite came out not long ago in July 2014 and is still played by many people.

Not to mention that it's being sold at £10.99 / $14.99 a pop. It was also recently promoted by Apple in its "Amazing Fantasy Games" sale.
