Warhammer 40,000: Regicide trailer shows how it adds curbstomping to chess

But it's not chess, okay?

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide trailer shows how it adds curbstomping to chess

It seems that Hammerfall has decided to drop the "Chess" bit from the title of Warhammer 40,000: Chess - Regicide.

In fact, all mentions of chess seem to have been eradicated since the game's initial announcment. It's like the studio is scared of the word.

No longer is this a chess game with added Space Marines and Orks from the Warhammer universe. Don't you dare say that.

No, now Regicide is a game of "turn-based tactical combat." Got it?

Just to make sure you understand, Hammerfall's new trailer for Regicide has curbstomping, gatling guns, and multiple stabbings.

It's not chess (it is). Alright?

Hammerfall has also opened up an online store where you can pre-order the game in Collector's Edition bundles. This means you can get a t-shirt, a hoodie, or a certificate for pre-ordering a game. Seriously.

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide is heading to PC, tablets, and mobile. It'll also have cross-platform play.
