Out at midnight: Quetzalcoatl has you pulling weird snakes around to solve puzzles
Slithering serpents
1Button is back with another elegant but tricky puzzler called Quetzalcoatl tonight (you may remember its previous puzzler Bicolor).
The title of the game refers to the feathered serpent of Aztec mythology, if you were wondering. Which means that, yes, this is a puzzle game that contains snakes.
Well, sort of. They're not like the snakes in Sushi Snake. These ones don't have heads, nor do they eat each other as in that game.
The snakes in Quetzalcoatl are more abstract. But they have the slithery movements of snakes, and that's enough to trigger my phobia of the creatures.
That aside, Quetzalcoatl has 180 "carefully designed" puzzles for you to solve. You grab a snake's head or tail and then match the coloured dots on its body to the background tiles.
To complete levels you just need to put all the dots in alignment with the tiles. Simple - unless you hate snakes, in which case it's also gross and creepy.
