Yes, Bossa Studios has announced that it's bringing the splatstick comedy of Surgeon Simulator to Android tablets on August 14th.

The news came in the form of a trailer (watch it above). It makes a point of the large number of "Android?" messages Bossa received since releasing Surgeon Simulator on iOS.

Who'd have thought that so many people would want to engage in the act of cutting up a human being? It's like we've gone back to medieval times.

Well, all you sickos can get your hands bloody in one week's time, I suppose.

Oh, and for the record, in our review, we said: "Surgeon Simulator is hilarious, fresh, and oddly satisfying, but it's just a little too slapdash and shallow for its own good".

I highly doubt that criticism will put you off the game, though - am I right? You just want to slice a guy's head open and laugh while doing it. I know your game.
