Here's something worth getting excited about if you're an iPhone owner. It's called CrazyKart 2, and is the work of French mobile developer Int13.

It's a super-smooth karting game, which has apparently been ported across from existing Windows Mobile and Symbian versions.

The developer says it should be finished by early summer although there's not yet any firm details of who would publish the game or what Apple's verdict is.

However, according to MacRumors, it'll offer three types of vehicle (karts, motorbikes and hovercrafts), six characters, and downloadable content including new karts and tracks.

Oh, and Wi-Fi online multiplayer. We'll say that again: Wi-Fi online multiplayer karting on your iPhone. Cor.

Int13 is also claiming a constant frame-rate of 60 frames per second, and are apparently looking at including tilt control and landscape play too.

We are dribbling over this one, and will be following its progress intently in the next few months.
