Game of Thrones: Ascent has finally leapt from Facebook over to iPad

Disruptor Beam has finally released Facebook and Kongregate hit Game of Thrones: Ascent on iPad.

If you're already playing the web version of Game of Thrones: Ascent, you can link up your accounts and transfer data.

The main change in this tablet version is a redesigned interface that encourages taps and slides (rather than clicks and drags). Other than that, it's the same game as the original.

In Game of Thrones: Ascent, you play a noble during an upheaval in Westeros. You even get to pledge your loyalties to the Great Houses, building and upgrading your properties as you proceed.

There are thousands of story-driven quests to complete that delve into the politics and social play of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones: Ascent

With this being a social game, you don't have to do it all alone. For one, there are Alliance challenges that let you call upon friends to help out. With their aid, you should rise to the top of the Power Rankings - it's all about status, you see.

By the same token, you can also challenge friends to PvP matches. It's a dog-eat-dog world.

One of the features that fans of the HBO TV show will appreciate is new content being added to the game alongside each episode of the show. So, you can jump into the storyline that you just watched.

Game of Thrones: Ascent is free-to-play, so you can download it for nowt for your iPad right now. It will be heading to Android tablets in the near future.
