In Fear I Trust is a macabre, story-driven puzzler heading to the App Store soon
Creeping ambition
Black Wing Foundation's In Fear I Trust has looked pretty impressive since its unveiling more than a year ago. And as an episodic psychological thriller made using the Unreal Engine for iOS, it's hard to deny its ambition.
Now, picked up by prolific indie publisher Chillingo, In Fear I Trust is finally nearing an actual App Store release. Here's the official trailer:
Pretty creepy, eh? Even better, Black Wing Foundation has taken to its website to clarify that "the initial pack will consist of not one, but two episodes and we are already working on the development of the rest of the story."
So, anyone who grabs the first two episodes at launch should have plenty to munch on until the later episodes arrive.
The horror, the horror! From the trailer, it really does look like it's pulled out all the stops with the spook-based weirdness - there's holographic men, sinister-looking robotics, creepy eyeless kiddies, and a gang of meanies who seem to be very keen on you keeping schtum.
Fingers crossed it can live up to the vision when it arrives on the App Store soon. We'll let you know when it's available.
