The developer of the just-released DS version of Myst is considering bringing its sequel Riven to DS, according to Myst DS producer, Manni Granillo.

Website 4 color rebellion spoke to Granillo, who apparently told them that Riven is being considering for a DS port. But they need to work out how to get such a long game onto the DS. Both multiple carts and episodic (presumably downloadable) content are being talked about.

The original Riven on PC, released in 1997, came on five CDs and the puzzle-based adventure game had incredibly high-end graphics, which is another factor that will no doubt make it even harder to successfully translate the experience onto DS.

Granillo also spoke about other DS games his team is currently working on. Apparently there are a couple of other classic adventure titles but he couldn't name which they'll be. Intrigued? We certainly are.
