Anime fitness game Burn Your Fat with Me receives new module in major update

Every year, millions of people resolve to shed some extra weight as part of their new year's resolutions and every year millions of these resolutions fail.

The hybrid dating/fitness game Burn Your Fat With Me released its first major update recently to help resolute resolutioners trim down as they enjoy more of the game's quirky and heartwarming story.

In the update to the silver award-winning game, players will have the option to purchase a third exercise module - Squats - which uses their phone or tablet's built-in accelerometer to detect the player’s body movement.

For otaku – that's anime fans, for the uninitiated - the new update also brings with it plenty of goodies to keep them happy as they’re exercising.

Chief among these new additions is the option to toggle the audio track from English to Japanese with English subtitles.

Additionally, iOS users can now purchase themed costumes for Mayu to wear during exercise sessions. Each costume pack includes new, thematic dialog to compliment Mayu's maid, yukata, cat-girl, and santa suit costumes.

Creative Freaks, the developers behind Burn Your Fat With Me, also announced that they hope to have a running-based sequel, Burn Your Fat With Me 2, and the female-focused dating game Burn Your Heart with Me out by the end of 2013.
