Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath moseys onto the PlayStation Network in North America
Should be out in Europe tomorrow
It's been a while since we've heard anything about the PS Vita port of quirky shooter Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD.
After Just Add Water announced that the game would be completed in June, press around the title grew eerily quiet.
As many of us know, this is rarely a good sign.
Thankfully, a Tuesday afternoon post on The PlayStation Blog announced that the Vita version is ready for release and will be on the North American PSN on Tuesday, just as soon as the store refreshes.
Tall, dark, and oddsome
Just Add Water also disclosed that work on the port began as soon as the PS Vita launched in February of 2012. In just 10 short months, its team was able to complete, test, and release the Vita version of the space western shooter.
For those who haven't played Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath on Xbox, PC, or the PS3, the game is a third-person shooter centering around a bounty hunter named The Stranger who wanders around a western mining town doling out intergalactic justice with his critter-firing crossbow.
While the PS Vita version has yet to receive an official trailer, a look at the PlayStation 3 debut video should give you a good idea of what to expect from the game.
