GemCraft

GemCraft is an interesting tower defence title that has been played online more than 90 million times.

Your aim in this title is pretty much the same as it is in every other tower defence title: build defensive obelisks and prevent waves of invading monsters from reaching your base (a mana crystal, on this occasion).

In GemCraft, you do this using eight magical jewels that all have special abilities. You can combine these gems and craft new multi-coloured crystals that boast even more potent powers.

This mobile version of the game features a touchscreen-friendly interface, Retina display-compatible graphics, and 32 levels that have been designed especially for your phone or tablet.

There are also Game Center-powered leaderboards and achievements on board.

Texting of the Bread

Texting of the Bread is awesome.

For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's an action-packed type-'em-up in which you are pitted against hordes of flesh-eating zombie gingerbread men.

These gingerbread men all have unique words floating above their heads. Type one of these words using the on-screen keyboard and you'll blow some poor bread-based snack's face off. Simples.

There are three modes to tackle in this game - Arcade, Free-play, and Survival - and lots of different achievements to unlock along the way.
