Tiny Tower and Pocket Planes developer NimbleBit has updated its excellent free-to-play collect-'em-up Pocket Frogs for the first time since September 2011.

The update completely removes the Plus+ network from the game, leaving Apple's Game Center social network to handle game backups, gifting, leaderboards, and achievements.

Furthermore, the update makes Pocket Frogs compatible with the new 4-inch screen found on Apple's iPhone 5 and fifth-gen iPod touch, and adds 46 new frog breeds to the mix.

If you manage to breed a particularly interesting froggy, by the way, you can now share it with your friends via Facebook and Twitter.

Pocket Frogs is a free Universal app, so give it a whirl.
