The first game from U4iA Studios - founded by Activision veterans Dusty Welch and Chris Archer - has been revealed. And it's called Offensive Combat.

As you might expect from ex-publishers of the hit Call of Duty franchise, Offensive Combat is a competitive multiplayer first-person shooter, with some stonking visuals to back up the carnage.

The game will initially take the form of a browser game, but the team will also be bringing the title to "mobile / tablet".

All three versions are described as being "interconnected". We're presuming they are referring to cross-platform play, rather than to companion apps.

No release date has been announced for the game just yet, but That VideoGame Blog is reporting the early beta will begin in the summer.
