StarDrone Extreme's controversial paid Level Skipper DLC goes free
Making the game far more easy to recommend
Sometimes, developers get things wrong. That's fine - we're all human, after all. As a consequence, it's often the way in which the studio then reacts to that error of judgement that informs people's perception of the company.
Beatshapers included a horrible Level Skipper DLC in its PS Vita game StarDrone Extreme, and we were quick to call the team out on it.
The company's founder Alexey Menshikov has just been in touch, though, to admit that it was a terrible decision, and to let us know that, through talks with Sony, he's now decided to make the DLC completely free.
This means that you can skip through to any level in the game without having to pay the 79p that the studio was originally asking for, making the game a far more pleasing prospect.
StarDrone Extreme is available to download for PS Vita for £3.19.
