Kiloo Games, the developer behind Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning throw-'em-up Frisbee Forever, has announced a new iPhone and iPad title.

Subway Surfers, which is due to hit the App Store this May, sees you aid three youths named Jake, Tricky, and Fresh, as they attempt to escape from a grumpy inspector and surf trains until their heart's content.

You can perform "lightning-fast" acrobatics with simple swipes of your device's display, utilise a paint-powered backpack or rocket to propel yourself to new heights, and even jump onto a futuristic hoverboard.

As you progress and create your very own graffiti crew, you can choose to either help or compete against your real-world buddies.

Subway Surfers will be released for iPhone and iPad in May.
