It's been over a year since we last wrote about Nokia's SNAP Mobile connected mobile games, and they're still keeping a low-profile here in Europe.

However, German mobile gamers are finally getting their hands on them, with the release of several SNAP games this Autumn, including Pocket Party JellyPop and Pocket Party Sudoku.

Demo versions of the games will be preloaded on certain Nokia handsets, such as the N73, N95 and 6300. If players like them, they'll be able to click a link to buy the full versions.

Both initial games include solo and multiplayer modes, online high-score tables, friend lists, avatars, and built-in chat.

"After continued success in Asia Pacific, we are clearly setting our sights on the European market," says SNAP Mobile boss Antoine Doumenc. "Germany is our first target country and we plan to expand our service availability in multiple European distribution channels within the year."

Interestingly, when we checked out the SNAP Arcade website as research for this story, the product page for Pocket Party Sudoku says it's also available in the UK for Vodafone customers with an N70, N73, N80 or N95 handset.

We'll keep an eye on any further developments, obviously.
