Angry Birds Seasons getting Chinese New Year update this month
These updates do dragon
The constant stream of updates to Angry Birds Seasons is set to continue in 2012, with the next refresh coinciding with the Chinese New Year.
Rovio hasn't explicitly said as much, of course - that's not the company's style. Instead, a clue was left at the end of the Angry Birds 'Happy new year' video over the Xmas break that saw the logo accompanied by Chinese text.
Oh, and some text in English that read 'Angry Birds Seasons. All new update. Coming in January' with a dragon flying past the screen.
Given that the Chinese New Year falls on January 23rd in 2012, it doesn't require a professional sleuth to deduce both the subject matter and the general date it'll land from this not-so-cryptic clue.
It's also fairly safe to assume the update will include birds, pigs wearing those pointy hats (as with the Moon Festival update), a dragon, and another slate of physics-based stages that I find impossible to three-star without a Pocket Gamer walkthrough guide.
