Is BioWare working on an iOS, Facebook, and Google+ Mass Effect title?

In a recent conversation with website CVG, Mass Effect 3 executive producer Casey Hudson may have let slip about a forthcoming Mass Effect title, which will tie-in with the new console offering.

Speaking about Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, Hudson said: "This is a concept that has never been done before in games, ever. Not simply a story device, it's fundamental to the game. For the first time, wherever you go - online, mobile, on social networks - you'll be able to follow your progress. You'll never have to leave the Mass Effect experience."

Hudson declined to answer any further questions about how the multi-platform approach will work, but CVG caught "glimpses of an all-new social game for Facebook and Google+, as well as a bespoke iPad and iPhone adventure."

BioWare has brought the Mass Effect universe to the iPhone back in 2009, in the form of the disappointing top-down shooter Mass Effect Galaxy.

Thanks, Chris.
