Cheer up, Scrubs fans. While your favourite medical sitcom may have been cancelled last year, you'll be pleased to know that a return to Sacred Hearts is on the cards later in 2011 on mobile, courtesy of HeroCraft.

Scrubs on mobile will feature a brand-new storyline featuring all the major characters from the series (including the Janitor and Dr Cox), with you playing - as you might expect - a new intern on the wards.

The gameplay is expected to be mainly puzzle-based, and we’d be highly surprised if it didn’t include some of the series's humour and one-liners nestled between head-scratchers.

Scrubs is currently scheduled for a summer release on all the major smartphone platforms.
