It’s one thing to borrow a game’s concept for your iPhone app, but it's another to completely take a popular game and make an unofficial mobile edition, pocketing the profits for yourself.

That’s the case with The Blocks Cometh, an iPhone app that entirely mimics the fun and frantic flash game, ahem, The Blocks Cometh. The game’s name, core concept, and even artwork has been borrowed by developer “EdisonGame” and seller “Yan Zhenhua”.

Writing on Twitter, the original game’s developer Halfbot says, “Anyone know who we can contact at Apple??! Someone stole The Blocks Cometh!! It's actually doing well too! Son of a...”. And says the MaXplosion incident "sucks", but “these guys stole our name, art and concept.”

Speaking with Destructoid, Halfbot’s Derek Laufman reveals that he was working on an iPhone edition, when he spied the fraudulent App Store version.

He says, "The concept I can let slide but stealing our name and art is a down right shitty thing to do."
