Epic iPhone RPG Ravensword coming to iPad

And Chillingo's Crystal social network along with it

Epic iPhone RPG Ravensword coming to iPad

Our heads are still spinning for the massive Apple launch event this evening when Steve Jobs showed us the large form iPhone, the iPad.

Naturally we're massively excited to find out what sort of software we're going to be seeing for this touchscreen giant, and our first port of call was our good buddies at Chillingo.

And the news is good. It's hit epic RPG Ravensword: The Fallen King - developed by Crescent Moon Games - will be coming to the iPad in all its graphical glory. It's easy to see how Ravensword would be a good match for the iPad, too - especially if you're planning on spending lots of time in the armchair with your lovely new touchscreen, as Steve Jobs did while showing it off.

What's equally exciting is that Chillingo is also preparing its social gaming network Crystal SDK for iPad gaming, too, which will reformatted for iPad but remain fully skinnable just as it is on iPhone.

We'll get you some pictures as soon as possible. All hail the Fallen King!

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
