Mortal Kombat Onslaught is now available for pre-registration on Android and iOS

Last year, Warner Bros. Games celebrated three decades of non-stop brutality as Mortal Kombat commemorated 30 years since its original release. The franchise has expanded from action-adventure games to comic books, card games, films, and even a TV series. October 2022 also saw the announcement of Mortal Kombat Onslaught, an upcoming collection RPG for mobile.

Since that announcement, there hasn’t been much to go by, but it looks like things are about to pick up. NetherRealm Studios, the minds behind Mortal Kombat X mobile and the Injustice games, has just opened pre-registrations for Mortal Kombat Onslaught, signalling a launch is just over the horizon.

For a game as massive as this one, there are bound to be several eager fans, which will reflect in the pre-registration numbers. As a result, the developers have released a list of milestone rewards that will be granted to everyone once met. The number already seems to be creeping up towards 400k, so it should be able to comfortably hit the rest as well.

  • Signup reward – 15k Fighter XP
  • 400,000 pre-registrations – 20 Skull Orbs
  • 600,000 pre-registrations – 325k Koins
  • 800,000 pre-registrations – 200 Krystals
  • 1,000,000 pre-registrations – 20 Master Orbs

If you haven’t heard about the game before, Mortal Kombat Onslaught takes players on a thrilling journey across the realms that have been perpetually locked in war. Players will witness their favourite characters like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Jade, Johnny Cage, and more engage in fierce battle as they watch a cinematic story unfold before their eyes. Gameplay-wise, RPG and collection elements will be combined in fast-paced matches where up to 10 characters can battle all at once.
