Classic arcade collection Midway Arcade for iOS updated with iCade support

Warner Bros. has just announced that its Midway Arcade iPhone and iPad application has just been updated to support the iCade - Ion Audio's replica wooden arcade cabinet.

Midway Arcade acts as a virtual showroom for more than ten classic arcade games, including Spy Hunter, Joust, Rampage, and Defender. Naturally, these - along with the collection's other titles - can now all be played using the iCade's full-size joystick and physical buttons via Bluetooth.

As you play, you can compete against your buddies for bragging rights and positions on the game's Game Center leaderboards, and unlock achievements for your dusty awards cabinet.

This new update to Midway Arcade also addresses several bugs, and introduces more intuitive controls for those using the iPhone's or iPad's touchscreen.

You can download Midway Arcade from the App Store as a Universal app for 69p / 99c.
