But for those of you unfamiliar with it, allow me to give you the low down. Looking to combine strategy, action and roguelike elements, Merge War: Super Legion Masters is an auto chess game that sees you merging slimes, dragons and other beasties to create an unstoppable army.

Once you've gathered your forces, you need to use them to create a deck that takes offence and defence into consideration – leaning too heavily one way isn't going to end well for you. You can also improve your cards, with each unlocking a special ultimate spell when you hit level three.

Then, once you're happy, send your forces into battle and watch them do your bidding. For a glimpse of what to expect from Super Legion Master, check out the trailer above. It sports a very colourful art style that's reminiscent of Super Cell's upcoming/soft-launched Clash Mini, which might have led to the one million-plus strong player base the game has already recruited since launching at the beginning of 2023. Or that could be attributed to the fact you can play it offline!

Merge War: Super Legion Master is available now on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred platform using the links below.
