Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle gets a three-part season pass on the Switch

With Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle only a week away from launch, Ubisoft's tagged onto the back of Nintendo's Gamescom hype train and announced the game's getting a season pass.

For a fair few months we heard nothing solid about Mario + Rabbids aside from intriguing rumours but back in June we finally got the confirmation that it really was a thing. Not only that, but it turns out the game's pretty stellar as PG's own Glen Fox'll tell you in his preview.

Back to the DLC news, next week alongside the game's launch the season pass will start rolling out:

  • On August 29th you'll be able to get eight unique (and exclusive) steampunk weapons, each with their own statistics.

  • Later this autumn you'll get new challenges, both solo and cooperative, with additional co-op maps.

  • In 2018 you'll get new story content, but there's information on that just yet.

Until then, here's Ubisoft's newest M+RKB trailer all about sassy Rabbid Peach.
