Manage Your Football Club kicks off on the Android Market

Successful iPhone football management game Manage Your Football Club has made the switch to Android Town from iPhone United, making it the first fully licensed football management game to hit the Android Market.

Despite what the name suggests, Manage Your Football Club doesn’t force you to manage your supported team, which is handy given that the one I support owes £120 million to its creditors.

Instead you get the chance to manage any one of 92 different teams from the English leagues, as well the option of taking them into Europe should you have a club that can absorb £300 million in debt and still not get thrown into administration. (I’m not bitter about this by the way.)

Management decisions like transfer purchases (or in Portsmouth’s case – sales), contract negotiations and individual match strategies all need to be carefully dealt with so that victory follows victory and at the end of the season your team walks away with football’s greatest trophy – the FA cup (is this right?)

The game is available for Android OS 1.6 and above and is on sale now for £2.99.
