Lego's Ninjago Rebooted gives you all the blocky ninja endless running you can handle

It's almost the weekend, and chances are good that you're in the mood for a bit of relaxation and vegging.

Sure there are excellent and deep games that launched recently for iOS and Android, but sometimes you just want to watch a blocky little Ninja man trundle on endlessly as you collect studs to fuel his ninjitsu powers.

Thankfully, the good folk over at Lego are here to help with Ninjago Rebooted - an endless runner set in its futuristic Ninjago line of playsets.

Ninja vanish

Ninjago Rebooted is, as you might expect, a free-to-play endless runner that lets you play as any of the characters from the TV Show - Kai, Cole, Jay, or Zane.

Once you take control of one of the four ninjas, your goal is to help them climb up to the top of Borg Tower so they can defeat the forces of the imposingly named overlord.

Action's split between vertical and horizontal sections, and you can choose between a mission-based Story Mode or just run endlessly in the appropriately named "Endless" mode.

This certainly isn't the deepest endless runner we've seen, but it's from Lego so you should have a good idea of what to expect. Click here to nab it from Google Play, or tap that black button below to grab it from iTunes.
