'Vertical launcher' Super Kid Cannon is coming to iOS and Android in February

Firing a red panda out of a cannon in Super Kid Cannon would be weird if platformers didn't already have a history of blasting animals out of various explosive tubes.

As we're accustomed to such a task, Super Kid Cannon merely seems like a characterful challenge with an appealing presentation. It looks alright, actually.

Developer Skyjoy Interactive says that it's something entirely new for the genre. A "vertical launcher", apparently.

It just looks like the kind of pinball platforming we've had since Sonic Spinball to me. Hey-ho.

Your task is to use cannons, ski lifts, geysers, and UFOs to travel upwards and save Justine from the kidnapping Khan. Along with dodging baboons and frogs, there are also puzzles incorporated into the climb upwards.

Give the trailer above a watch, just to see if you fancy picking up Super Kid Cannon up when it arrives on iOS and Android in February.

It will be free-to-play, but the IAPs won't be required to finish the game, or so we're told. Looks like there are characters and costumes to unlock instead.
