Soul Sacrifice Delta TGS 2013 gameplay shows off the capabilities of PS Vita TV

New footage from Tokyo Game Show 2013 shows off gameplay from the Japanese-only action-RPG sequel, Soul Sacrifice Delta. But not only that; it gives us a first glimpse into the capabilities of the PS Vita TV.

As we've reported before, the PS Vita TV, much like Soul Sacrifice Delta, is limited to a launch in Asia at the moment. It will be available in Japan on November 14th.

So what interest do we have looking so intently at this gameplay footage?

As Western countries has shown such a keen interest in the PS Vita TV, and surprised Sony in doing so, the company is reconsidering launching the service outside of Asia.

As a reminder, the PS Vita TV is a microconsole that plays PS Vita, PSP, and original PlayStation games on televisions.

Soul Sacrifice Delta is the upcoming game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune. The gameplay video below shows some more specific features that comes with the PS Vita TV. Mostly, this is the four player splitscreen play, which can be easily swapped in and out mid-game, it appears.

The two videos also show off the sequel to the Silver Award-winning Soul Sacrifice for the first time, too. This upcoming game adds a third alignment to the series's moral choices.

No longer is good and evil the only options, as a third neutral alignment exists. This comes with a new organisation of mages called Grimm faction, which is derived from the classic fairy tales.

So it's worth a watch for either the PS Vita TV or the gameplay of Soul Sacrifice Delta, or both.
