[Update] The PG Readers' iOS and Android Game of the Week - your vote needed
|
Updated on October 14th, at 12:30: The votes have been counted, checked for irregularities, and fed through our super-computer to make sure none were forged by other super-computers.

And after a meeting of a council of Pocket Gamer elders to discuss the ramifications of our findings, I can now announce that this week's winner is Star Command.

Yup, that's right, Star Command is now the only game in PG history to win the Game of the Week award twice. Which barely even makes sense.

This time around, it's the Android version of the game that's been crowned thanks to your votes.

Star Command is a vaguely comedic jaunt into deep space that involves your running a starship. You'll fight boarding parties; converse with funny-looking aliens; and slowly upgrade your ship and crew.

We gave the iOS version of the game a Bronze Award when it first came out. "In the end, Star Command is an entertaining little sim that gives you some control over the comings and goings of a spaceship."

You can grab Star Command from the Google Play Store for £1.86 / $2.99 [buy].
