Out at midnight - Stick to the shadows or go all guns blazing in Riddick: The Merc Files

We told you yesterday that Riddick: The Merc Files was gonna be out soon. We didn't expect it to be tonight, though. It's fitting, I guess, considering it's a game about stealth and surprise.

You play as muscular anti-hero Riddick in his attempt to escape from the mercenaries that constantly hunt him across the stars.

It's up to you to decide how to approach each mission. You can either stick to the shadows and sneak past. Or you can be a little braver and attempt to trick your enemies.

If you're feeling slightly more gung-ho, mind, you can grab some firearms and head in all guns blazing.

In Riddick: The Merc Files, you only need to use two fingers to perform all of the in-game actions. These include melee counter-attacks, gun takedowns, and shooting rifles.

Riddick: The Merc Files developer Tigon Studios has promised to add new levels and features to the game on a regular basis.

Riddick: The Merc Files will go live on the UK and US App Stores later tonight. It'll be priced £1.99 / $2.99.
