The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, sequel to Gold Award-winning RPG, announced for PS Vita

Xseed Games announced that it'll publish the highly-ancipated RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC for the PSP, PS Vita, and PC in 2014.

Trails in the Sky SC is the sequel to the Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which launched back in 2011 for the PSP and will feature a localisation by Carpe Fulgur, the team known for its work on acclaimed PC RPGs Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale and Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters.

In our review of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, we found that if had "staggering depth and surprising accessibility" - trends that we hope SC (Second Chapter) continues to offer.

Trailing towards greatness

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC begins immediately after the events in the first game.

Following the cliffhanger revelations at the end of Trails in the Sky, Estelle - the sister heroine of the sibling protagonists - feels adrift and isolated from her friends as she learns the true architects of the conflict engulfing the Liberl Kingdom are far more powerful and insidious than she could have imagined.

We don't have much more to go on past that, but we know Trails in the Sky SC will offer of plenty RPG content to sink your teeth into and so we'll be sure to keep you updated as more information on this release is made available.

Additionally, we've learned that there's no word yet about a European release but we'll keep you updated if that changes.

The artwork used for this story is from the PS3 release of Trails in the Sky SC HD Edition.
