Relive the events of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series on Android in The Walking Dead: Assault

UK-based developer Gamagio has just released an "enhanced" version of Bronze Award-winning iOS action title The Walking Dead: Assault on Google Play.

In The Walking Dead: Assault, you have to guide Sheriff Rick Grimes and other popular characters from Robert Kirkman's Eisner Award-winning comic book series through a series of missions, completing objectives along the way.

These objectives generally involve killing zombies, nabbing supplies, and helping survivors out of tight spots before they become food for the undead.

As you complete objectives, you'll unlock exclusive The Walking Dead content, including artwork, wallpapers, and interesting behind-the-scenes trivia.

This "definitive" edition of The Walking Dead: Assault features a number of enhancements that aren't present in the iPhone and iPad versions of the game.

There's enhanced sound and additional visual FX, for example, as well as plenty of health and ammo booster items. The game's difficulty has been tweaked slightly for this Android version, too.

You can grab The Walking Dead: Assault from Google Play right this second for £1.99 / $2.99.
