Let's face it: some of us are never going to be able to afford Nokia's gorgeous Windows Phone 8-powered flagship Lumia 920 blower.

The Finnish manufacturer knows this, which is probably why it's just announced two new mid-range Lumia smartphones (the Lumia 720 and the Lumia 520) at Mobile World Congress 2013.

The main selling point of the Lumia 720, which will be available in five colours for around €249, is said to be its Carl Zeiss camera

This rear-facing snapper will apparently be capable of taking bright and clear photos at both day and night. This upcoming smartphone will also boast a HD front-facing camera

The Lumia 720 will land in the UK sometime between April and June of this year. There are currently no details regarding a US launch.

The 520

The Nokia Lumia 520, on the other hand, will set you back around €139 when it arrives on European shores during Q2 of this year.

Aside from the fact that it will feature the same camera as the abovementioned flagship Lumia 920, we don't really know much else about the Lumia 520.
