For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, Fathom Interactive's Sky Pirates Racing is a free-to-play arcade-style kart racer that's rocking some seriously sumptuous graphics.

In this action-packed title, you have to beat five of your friends or complete strangers from around the world to the finishing line of various arenas.

You can improve your chances of a podium finish by spending some of the hard-earned crystals that you collect as you race on helpful power-ups.

Sky Pirates Racing features a number of different riders, many of whom are unlockable through in-app purchases.

All racers accelerate automatically, by the way.

All you have to do, then, is tap on either side of your device's screen to turn corners, tap your display with two fingers to activate your craft's on-board boosters, and double-tap on-screen to barrel roll.
