iOS and Android Game of the Week - your vote needed
|

Every week, thousands of new games hit the iOS App Store and Google Play on Android. Trying to find the diamonds in the rough is no easy task, let us assure you.

We like to think we do a pretty good job with our news articles, mid-week round-ups, expert reviews, and comprehensive features, mind.

But, now we want to know what YOU think.

Every Thursday, we're going to ask you to pick the best game that was released on iOS and Android that week (from the nominations below), and then we'll present that winner in a glamorous article on the following Monday.

There are loads of places to vote. Leave a comment at the bottom of this article, reply to our Game of the Week tweet, answer the poll on Facebook, or write your nomination into the core of a stick of rock, then hit yourself over the head with it.

The nominations
Little Inferno (iPhone, iPad) Set your iPad alight with this incendiary, satirical sandbox game. You'll never look at freemium games the same way again. Hopefully.
Dream House Days (Android) Kairosoft returns to drop another blocky management sim into its tiny-pixel-people-must-do-my-bidding niche. Don't complain - you know you're gonna play it.
Table Top Racing (iPhone, iPad) This is what you get when ex-WipEout developers team up to form an indie iOS studio. It's a bit Micro Machines, which is fine by us.
Pixel People (iPhone, iPad) So it's the future, and cloning's totally cool. Play god like you're Peter Molyneux himself, and splice yourself up a glorious Utopia.
Cubes vs. Spheres (Android, iPhone, iPad) This geometric grudge match just popped up on Android, even though iOS types having been lobbing exploding balls at cubes for ages.

James pivoted to video so hard that he permanently damaged his spine, which now doubles as a Cronenbergian mic stand. If the pictures are moving, he's the one to blame.
