Mutant Mudds

Renegade Kids's Mutant Mudds is a rock-solid platformer that's managed to nab two of Pocket Gamer's coveted Bronze Awards since its debut.

In this title, you step into the trainers of a 2D hero named Max, who must use his trusty jetpack to rush between the foreground and background of 60 challenging stages.

These stages are filled with a nasty race of monsters called Mutant Mudds.

Thankfully, you can wipe them out with ease using the high-powered water cannon that you carry around on your back.

Backbreaker 2: Vengeance

Backbreaker 2: Vengeance is an American-football title with a twist.

Instead of taking control of a glory-hunting quarterback or an entire team of NFL players, you strap on the helmet of a lone running back.

Your aim, naturally, is to use spins and jukes to outmanoeuvre your opponent's defenders and get yourself into the end zone in one piece.

In this high-octane sequel, you can also switch roles and become the tackler.
