If you go down to the PS Vita online store this week, you won't be in for much of a surprise.

That's because those virtual shop shelves have not exactly been topped up with incredible new titles. Sure, there are some interesting games to sample, but it's not the PSN's best week ever.

So, is any of it worth grabbing? Let's read on and discover

Full-price releases

Doodle God is the first notable release this week. The game pits you as a God, and gives you four basic elements. By mixing these elements up, you can discover new ones and fill the world.

Sounds pretty simple, but sometimes titles like this can be more complex than they initially appear. I'll have a review for you soon, but until then, the game is £4.79 if you're interested.

The other release isn't so interesting. It's a trading card app based on the Invizimals universe. It's free, but only available in Spain and Portugal. So there you go!

There's also a demo for Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed, which you should definitely check out - it's a great deal of fun.

Americans get just one new release this week. escapeVektor is from Australian developer Nnooo, which you might recognise as the team responsible for the Spirit Hunters series on Nintendo DSi.

It's an arena shooter set inside a computer, and it costs $9.99 (unless you're a PS Plus subscriber - see below)

PlayStation Plus games and offers

There's even more free games via PS Plus this week, in both regions. Hooray.

Europeans get Pinball Arcade for free, which is exactly what it sounds like, while Americans get Foosball 2012 for free - again, exactly what it says on the tin.

Oh, American PS Plussers can also pick up escapeVektor for 20 percent off, at $7.99, if you so choose.

PlayStation Mobile releases

Six weeks of free PlayStation Mobile continues this week with Beats Slider for free. It's from Futurlab of Velocity fame, and given the missing price tag, there's no reason not to grab it.

Gun Commando looks a bit more interesting. For £2.19, you're getting a first-person, old-school styled shooter, that is pretty gorgeous. Does it play well? Watch out for a review here soon.

The Farm Frenzy Series bundle (Bountiful Harvest Pack) is a casual time management game that revolves around farming. It costs £3.99 if that's your cup of tea.

The Run For Your Life bundle, on the other hand, doesn't really seem worth it at all.

You get the wonderful Jetpack Joyride, and the equally wonderful Canabalt together for £3.49 - but given that the former is free to download, and Canabalt costs less than £3.49 on its own, it'd be a better idea to grab them separately.

PSP and PSone Classics

There's a fair few PSP and Classics games to look at this week.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows was released in Japan in 2011, but this is the first time it's been released in the West. It costs £11.99 if you're interested.

The PSP version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 has dropped in the American PSN store, and costs $19.99 if you like a bit of foot-to-ball.

That's your lot for this week - ta ta until next time.
