If you're based in Europe, you've got loads of new software for the PS Vita to look forward to this week.

American? Not so much.

For the former, there are new games, discounts, PS Plus offers... the works, basically.

For Americans, there's an alarm clock. Hmmmm. Well, at least it's free!

Full-price releases

First up... Europe finally gets the chance to download Retro City Rampage on PS Vita. This is a GTA-inspired, retro-styled title that borrows elements from pretty much every single game under the sun.

I'm currently playing the Vita version for review, but I've already given the PC version a playthrough. I can tell you that this is a steal at £8.99.

Earth Defense Force 2017 is also now out in Europe. It's a third-person shooter full of huge and very silly enemies, such as giant ants and robot spiders.

Orgarhythm, meanwhile, is a real-time strategy-rhythm-action-puzzler. Try saying that three times. Fast. Mr Will Wilson wasn't too convinced by it back at E3, but if it sounds like your cup of tea, it'll cost you £11.99.

There's even more! Sumioni: Demon Arts is also now out for the PS Vita as a downloadable. This is a 2D action-platformer in which you paint ink platforms for your hero to walk on. This one has received really average reviews, so might be best to keep that £7.99 in your pocket.

On top of these new releases, there are some sales on, folks.

Table Ice Hockey is 79p, the brilliant PulzAR is 79p, and Table Top Tanks is - you guessed it - 79p. Oh, and there's an extra 10 per cent off if you're a PS Plus subscriber.

Americans! We haven't forgotten about you.

You get Wake-Up Club, which is an alarm clock app that can link to other Vitas. Yeh, so that you and your friends can all wake up together. Sounds... interesting. It's free. Thankfully.

The US Vita Store does have some nice discounts, though: Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Lumines Electronic Symphony, Orgarhythm, Rayman Origins, and Sumioni: Demon Arts are all on sale at the moment.

PlayStation Plus games and offers

This is where it gets really good for European Vita owners.

You can now pick up free-skating title Jet Set Radio for free if you're a PS Plus subscriber.

Americans haven't got it too bad, either. Stardrone Extreme is half price (at $2). Bargain, I tell you, bargain.

PlayStation Mobile releases

There aren't any new PS Mobile games this week. But, there's still something to get excited about.

Sony has launched a new promotion for the service, and so is giving away six free PS Mobile games over the course of six weeks. This week's free game is Samurai Beatdown, so go grab that bad boy quickly.

There are some new PS minis, too. Pick of the Crop packs together multiple Farm Frenzy titles, and costs £2.79.

Meanwhile, Well Rounded Player is also a bundle. This time around, it's a match-three selection, including Treasures of Montezuma Blitz. That's £2.79, too.

PSP and PSone Classics

There's just one new PSP title this week, but it might be worth pricking your ear up for.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows was released in Japan in 2011, but this is the first time it's been released in the West. Hurrah!

There's also a new selection of PS Classics titles available now, all from Disney: Disney Pixar A Bug's Life, Disney Pixar Toy Story 2, Disney Pixar Toy Story Racer, and Disney Pixar Monsters Inc. Scream Team.

Until next week, ta-ta.
