Demons' Score comes to Japanese Android devices, no word on western release

Square Enix has brought its glitzy rhythm game Demons' Score to Japanese Android gamers, and many are wondering if the worldwide Android release is far behind.
Promised to Android gamers "this fall", the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Demons' Score features gorgeous graphics powered by the Unreal Engine and music from some of Japan's top video game composers like Naoshi Mizuta (Final Fantasy XI), Keiichi Okabe (Nier), and Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana).
It also features a rather unapologetic implementation of in-app purchases. At £4.99 / $6.00, Demons' Score is already on the more expensive end of premium apps range, but the full version with all content unlocked runs closer to £30 / $50 (minus consumables) on the App Store.
Demonic contractThe Android version of Demons' Score is designated for Tegra 3 devices, although that may change once the game makes it out of Japan.
Unfortunately, we still don't have a firm release date or window to report for when Demons' Score will arrive on Google Play, but we'll be sure to keep you updated with news of the Android release when it surfaces.
