Galaxy on Fire 2 iOS add-on Supernova getting sentry guns and cluster missiles to fight back foes
Tons of guns
The latest developer diary for Galaxy on Fire 2’s upcoming expansion pack, Supernova, will appeal to players looking for new armaments and ways to defend themselves from space pirates.
Part nine of the diary is titled, fittingly, 'stick to your guns!' and teases players with glimpses of new weapons that will be introduced in Supernova.
In addition to promised new lasers and blasters, players now have cluster missiles and heavy ordinance turrets to look forward to.
Droning offGalaxy on Fire 2’s developer, Fishlabs, has responded to player feedback requesting a drone-style weapon for use in combat.
While Supernova does not introduce a drone in full, it does give players the option to purchase Sentry Guns. Launched like mines, these armaments will fire at any enemy ships that happen into their firing range.
Supernova is scheduled to be released on August 30th.
