Android developers can now reply directly to Google Play user reviews

Google Play has just been updated with a new feature that allows Android developers to respond to reviews left on their games' and apps' product pages by punters.

Developers will be able to gather additional information from their apps' users; provide guidance and tips to overcome problems; or even let users know when their feature requests have been implemented.

If you've left a review on an game and its developer replies, you'll receive an email to let you know that the dev has responded. You'll then be able to contact said developer directly with more information.

This feature is available from today for those who carry a "Top Developer" badge, and will be rolled out - based on feedback from users - to all other developers in the future.
