Skylanders: Cloud Patrol for iPhone and iPad removed from App Store
Probably due to a progress-wiping bug
Yesterday, the rather excellent Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Skylanders: Cloud Patrol was updated with a bunch of new content. Today, it's mysteriously disappeared from the App Store.
If, like me, you eagerly downloaded yesterday's update as soon as you saw it appear in the App Store, you probably lost the majority of your save data upon opening the application again, including your hard-earned levels. Strangely, though, unlocked characters appear to have been unaffected by the bug.
Anyway, we presume that's the reason it's no longer available on Apple's digital marketplace.
If you're yet to download the update, we suggest you don't for the time being. You may miss out on the game's new range of brawlers, but you won't lose the progress you've made.
