Konami has confirmed that the latest iteration in its survival simulation series, Lost in Blue 3, will be released across European nations on September 15th.

The game has already been available in North America for six months so we're getting it later than everyone else. Square Enix often manages near simultaneous western releases for its handheld games (sometimes even brings them out in Europe first), so it can be done, folks.

Still, at least it's coming, which is good news. Assuming it proves better than its predecessor Lost in Blue 2, that is. And with US reviews having been a bit mixed we wouldn't count on this one being a start-to-finish adrenaline fest.

The game lets you play as four different characters who are stranded on a mysterious island. In order to survive, you must utilise each character's strengths to gather food, explore the island and hunt the dangerous native wildlife. As well as ultimately escape from the island, Lost style.

If Ray Mears style survival is your thing you don't have long to wait until you can get your fix. Just click 'Track It!' to get news of our review before you rush out and buy it, just in case it proves a bit more hard work than it's worth.
