Although Square Enix has signalled its excitement for Sony's forthcoming NGP, it's not ready to give up on the PSP just yet. Lord of Arcana is the first of four games confirmed for release in 2011.

Taking place in a world known as Horodyn, the game tasks you with annihilating hordes of monsters and laying your hands on Arcana - a powerful stone that only the fiercest of warriors may posses.

Lord of Arcana contains hours of solo and co-op gaming, a bestiary compiled from a collaboration of world-renowned artists, and visuals which are said to, “Push PSP to the limit.”

Fast paced combat, customisable weapons and armour, and ongoing downloadable content is also promised.

Lord of Arcana is only available as a special 'Slayer Editon', which includes a 'Slayer Red' game case, a 44 page hardback artbook, and a mini soundtrack CD.

A demo is currently available via PSN.
