Lemmings releases massive Big Bang 7.1 update with community requests and new features

Exient has announced a massive new update for Lemmings, letting fans of the classic offline puzzle game in on an ever-expanding universe. Aptly titled the Big Bang 7.1 update, the latest patch adds new traps and instructions to the fray, raising the bar for players when it comes to their puzzle prowess.

In the latest update to Lemmings, players can look forward to plenty of community-requested features. Additionally, you can use Dynamite to destroy blocks - you can even use these explosives to start over when you find yourself in a pinch. The Explosive Block, on the other hand, is also bringing in loads of dynamite delights. Plus, you now have the freedom to pick when you want to claim your XP rewards, with separate claiming for Regular and VIP rewards.

If that all sounds like it's right up your alley and you're keen on challenging your brain cells even more, why not take a look at our list of the best puzzle games on Android?

The latest update also adds an improved redemption system for your Reward Rocket - those you haven't claimed will still be given out the next day. Along with these features comes a refreshed Tournaments feature so you can put your skills to the test against others.

If you're eager to join in on all the fun and experience the update for yourself, you can do so by downloading Lemmings on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
