Legally Blonde: The Game receives new UI and major narrative changes in latest update
Last year, PlaySide Studios joined forces with MGM Studios to bring Reese Witherspoon’s iconic character, Elle Woods to mobile through Legally Blonde: The Game. It is an RPG-slash-match-3 game that celebrated 21 years of the franchise and the developers have recently released a major update that offers a brand new experience to players.
Describing the new update, Danny Armstrong, General Manager of PlaySide Studios, said: “Since releasing in August last year, hundreds of thousands of players have dived into Legally Blonde: The Game and taken on our brilliant blend of compelling and challenging Match-3 puzzles and our deep and engrossing choice-driven narrative adventure. But our players wanted more customization, more romance, and more Elle Woods – so with today’s update we are delighted to give it to them”
Legally Blonde’s updated version features a tonne of improvements to the UI, making the game look much cleaner than before. It also revamps the whole narrative so players hopping in now are in for a ride with new storylines, love interests, and a few mystery guest stars too. What remains unchanged is Elle Woods delivering justice in breathtaking style.
Armstrong further added, “We know our players love decorating their apartments in-game and living the ultimate lifestyle. Our new update overhauls the way players engage with decorating their apartment and makes way for a new reputation system that will allow players to unlock these customization options for free simply by playing the story.”
