Killzone: Liberation PSP update

It could be our SAS training, but few things give us more pleasure than silently creeping up to an unsuspecting news snippet we spot in the distance and then holding a commando knife to its aorta until it reveals the location of new screenshots.

This time, not only did it not take much persuading, but we got additional information concerning Sony's forthcoming third-person futuristic war shooter, Killzone: Liberation, too (our first story on which you'll find here).

In addition to the expected singleplayer game, we now know there's also a multiplayer option; it currently follows the fairly typical deathmatch structure of players running around the multi-level environments while shooting and throwing grenades at each other, before going to restock their ammo and health reserves at points scattered throughout the stages.

Unfortunately our source gave out before confirming whether the tanks that can be seen in these new shots are player-controlled (it's likely, given the perspective employed), but it's safe to assume the gun turrets will be.

Guess we'll just have to go back and conceal ourselves in the digital undergrowth while we wait for more news to come our way. Or we could go for an all-out attack on the game at next month's E3 exhibition. Either way we'll report back as soon as we extract any more info.
